● Power cannot be turned on.

– Check if the battery is properly aligned to the correct polarity.

● In case of no sound

– Check if the volume is set to ‘0.’

– Check if the connection of the earphone has failed.

● Buttons don’t work

– Check if the Hold switch is on.

● In case of “No Marked Files” or “No Marked Folder”

– Choose the “Total” mode of [Playing Methods]

– For more details, refer to the Playing Methods of this guide.

● In case of no FM reception

– For a fringe area where reception is poor, some radio signals

are hard to pick up.

– Check if the connection of the earphone has failed. (The

earphone doubles as the antenna for the product.)

● The system seems sluggish

– Booting speed will be slow when there are too many files in

EMX-830 Series.

– Refer to the page 30, “Preparations.”

Installation software for Mac users is not provided.
